19. Studio Workshop

For this task, my class where put into groups and a teacher told us how to use the equipment that we may need to produce the photos for my NEA.

I then had to answer these questions based on the workshop:

Which part of the light can the gels be taped to?

They can be taped to the black parts, not on the part where the lights are because this heats up and the residue from the tape can get stuck onto the panels of the light and is difficult to remove.

The LED panels use two colours, what are they?

Warm white and a cool white.

What are the purposes of the barn doors on the LED panels?

Control where the direction of the light is going.

Where should the subject light be placed?

At a 45-degree angle, diagonal to the subject.
