15. Name Ideas

For this task, I had to come up with 10 possible name ideas that I may use.

My 10 name ideas are:

• Underground Sounds

• Spotlight

• Music Weekly

• Music Finds

• Indie Records

I then made a google forms, to allow my classmates to votes on what name they think is the best.

The results from this are:

From this, the top three are:

1. Indie Records

2. Spotlight

3. Underground Sounds

From this shortlist I will be choosing 'Indie Records' as the name, this is because it fits the idea of my magazine, and it allows me to try different arrangements of the name on the front cover of the magazine.

I'm not choosing 'underground sounds' because for me the name is too long to act as a name for my magazine.

And for 'Spotlight' I'm not choosing it, because I would like the name to be two words so I can experiment with the arrangement of the title more.
